1. Controller
transcode.ro is operated by DreamServer.ro. We process personal data under the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).
2. Data we collect
Account data (username, display name, optional email), the files you upload, activity logs (actions, IP address, user-agent, timestamps) and usage counters (storage, bandwidth, credits).
3. Purpose & legal basis
We process data to provide the Service (contract performance), for security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest) and to meet legal obligations.
4. Audit logs
We keep security logs of account actions and IP address to detect and investigate unauthorized or abusive use.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. The Service is self-hosted; subtitle translation and analysis run on our own infrastructure, with no transfer to marketing third parties.
6. Retention
Files and account data are kept while the account is active or per storage limits. You can delete them anytime in the app.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact us to exercise them.
8. Cookies
We use a single session cookie, strictly necessary for authentication. No tracking/marketing cookies.
9. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures: hashed passwords (bcrypt), encrypted transport (HTTPS), per-user isolation and logging.
