Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance
By creating an account and using transcode.ro (the “Service”) you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.
2. Service description
The Service provides video/audio transcoding, quality analysis (VMAF), subtitle management and related tools, on a credit basis.
3. Account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity in your account. Accounts are created by the administrator.
4. Credits & payments
Operations consume credits (e.g. 1 credit/minute of transcoded video, VMAF 1 credit/2 minutes, subtitle translation 5 credits). Added credits are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change with notice.
5. Acceptable use
You may not upload or process illegal content, content infringing copyright, or content you lack rights to. You may not attempt to breach security, upload executables or malicious code, or otherwise abuse the Service.
6. Your content
You retain all rights to your files. You are solely responsible for uploaded content. We process it strictly to provide the Service.
7. Limits
Storage and usage limits set by the administrator apply (space, number of profiles, groups, subtitles). Exceeding them blocks that operation.
8. Availability
The Service is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts for availability (see SLA), without guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, data loss or lost profits. Keep copies of your original files.
10. Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You may request account deletion at any time.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is published here.
